My father and I just visited and we had
a wonderful time! I happened upon your website and immediately ran out
the door and told my dad we were going to visit the next day! I never
would've expected to see so many different creatures, and the staff was
very helpful. I learned a lot from the experience.  Thank you for being there and doing such great work in
conservation. It has been a number of years since my
first visit, and today I took my 15 yr old grandson --
he loved it too. My wife was heartbroken that she had
to work today and not go.
The entire staff is knowledgeable, pleasant, and
obviously excited about their work. What a treat.
Paul, Lisa, Lori, and Kelly in the "show and tell" were
fantastic. And Nicole at the gift shop made the
experience a very pleasant one. The knowledge and
experience and experiences, as well as a love for
wildlfe, come through loud and clear.
I have been in conservation for my entire life as soil
scientist, and erosion and sediment control
professional, and respect all the fantastic work you
do. I remember meeting Debbie some years back at a
conservation meeting, and told her then what a great job
you do. If you can (and I am sure you do) make an
impression to just a few folks, it is worth it to our
world and all of life on it. I know how difficult it is
trying to get people to understand not to dump material
down storm drains in Marietta.
And, of course, the many staff personnel who are "behind
the scenes" are just as important to the entire
operation. They are as appreciated as those who are
"out front". Thanks again for a great

- We really enjoyed our tour of your beautiful and well kept Kangaroo
facility on May 22nd. Your animals appear so content and well cared
for. The attached picture is one of a few I was able to take. I was
wondering if you would be able to tell me which kangaroo this is so I
can put a name to that handsome face. This was taken at the front pen
area near the kangaranger, left side closer to the wallaby pen with the
bamboo. Thanks for a beautiful day and lasting memories.

ONE MORNING I WAS WATCHING THE TODAY
SHOW AND SAW THE EXCLUSIVE ON YOUR FACILITY. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND
FOUND YOUR WEBSITE. MY CHILDREN FELL IN LOVE WITH YOUR GIFT SHOP...IT
WAS AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE FOR THEM. WE LIVE IN FLORENCE, SOUTH CAROLINA,
SO WE DROVE UP TO GREENVILLE SPENT THE NIGHT AND STARTED OUT BRIGHT AND
EARLY THE NEXT MORNING FOR DAWSONVILLE, GEORGIA!!! WE ENJOYED EVERYTHING
AND THEN WE WALKED AROUND. MY SON DIDN'T HAVE THE CHANCE TO PARTICIPATE
IN THE BOOMERANG TOSS (WE WERE 10 MINUTES LATE) BUT THERE WAS A DEAR
WOMAN WHO TOOK SOME TIME UP WITH HIM AND SHOWED HIM THE BOOMERANG TOSS
IN THE FIELD JUST ONE ON ONE WITH RAYF, AND FOR THAT I THANK YOU FOR
YOUR KIND EMPLOYEE'S. BOTH RAYF AND REAGAN TOOK TONS OF PICTURES... RAYF
LOVED THE T-SHIRTS. HE BOUGHT TONS FOR HIS FRIENDS, ALONG WITH THE HAT
AND MATCHING HIKING STICK. REAGAN LOVED THE T-SHIRTS ALSO AND HAD TO BUY
ALL HER LITTLE FRIENDS ONE TOO. MY FAMILY AND I HAD A FUN FILLED,
EXCITING AND FULL DAY WITH THE KANGAROOS & THE DEER. THE DEER CAME RIGHT
UP TO THE CHILDREN NEAR THE BUTTERFLY GARDEN. ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
REAGAN HAD MADE A SCRAPBOOK AND TOLD HER ENTIRE CLASS ABOUT THE DAY THAT
SHE WENT TO THE KANGAROO CONSERVATION CENTER. THANK YOU AGAIN FROM OUR
FAMILY TO YOURS! WE JUST LOVED THE ADVENTURE!
I toured your center on Saturday with my
2 grandchildren, ages 10 and 7 and had a wonderful time. We all learned
so much about kangaroos. I had no idea that there was such a jewel
tucked away in the N. GA mountains.
On Friday,
July 4th, 2008, my family and I paid a visit to the Kangaroo
Conservation Center and we were so delighted at how wonderful this place
was! We were so happy to see such an amazing place that was clean,
well-organized and well-run. The people working there are wonderful and
exude such concern and honest respect for these animals! They do an
amazing job with presenting their mission of conserving these gentle
animals as well as educating the public on the importance of the
commitment it takes to properly raise wild animals. I have always had a
deep respect for all creatures and it is great to see that these folks
do too! I highly recommend this place to anyone!
Our visit to the Kangaroo
Conservatory was extraordinary! Thank you, thank you, thank you
for waiting on us---you are phenomenal *******! I can't thank you
and the staff enough for our wonderful experience, the children
thoroughly enjoyed everything. I'll be sure to have them express
how they loved the visit. Some of our children had the pleasure of
going to Australia last year, they stated that they learned much more
about Kangaroos on the field trip. I am so excited about the
conservatory being in Georgia that I have vowed to schedule a family
trip this summer. Thanks a million *******! The Kangaroo
Conservatory is definitely on the field trip list for next year.
